Alex Rider series
Alex Rider's guardian dies under mysterious circumstances and Alex soon finds out how. The first book in this series is Stormbreaker where Alex goes from schoolboy to superspy. He was forcibly recruited into MI6 and sent on his first mission but he doesn't realise how hard it will be. This is an amazing book that was really funny.

Hello Claire and Karen - Well done you two Bookworms! I didn't know that horses could read and write such great reviews!!!!! Just kidding - well done on a great venture and keep up the excellent work. I enjoyed your comments on the books you chose. How about a review of Jeannie Baker's new picture book, Mirror? It's my fave book of the moment, as well as Michael Gerard Bauer's Just a Dog, which had me in tears of laughter and sadness.
